Student Essay: Applicants must submit an essay describing how athletics have played a role in developing them as a person , including lessons learned through teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership.
Letters of Recommendation: One letter of recommendation from a former coach One letter of recommendation from a teacher

We invite you and your student to join us on October 2, 2025, at 4 p.m. for CRUnite, a tailgate party for prospective 7th and 8th-grade students before the SHDHS VS Owen County football game. There will be games and a tailgate BBQ. 7th and 8th-grade students who register by September 12 will get a free t-shirt, too! Click here to register.

Important Information:

CRUnite attendees must be accompanied by an adult to the football game.
If your student is not attending the game, they must be picked up by 6:00 PM.
