SHDHS Summer Youth Football Camp

Cost-$135 per athlete which includes a camp T-Shirt and Daily Lunch provided (usually pizza!!)
and Waters (water will also be available on the field during activities as well).

This Camp is a (4) day non-contact teaching event which will be played by USA Flag Football rules
and regulations. However, all campers can expect to learn the form, fit and function of
techniques which match those used in Tackle Football. Mornings will be position fundamentals
emphasis for both defensive and offensive sides of the ball. Campers can expect to receive solid
coaching on technique and fundamentals from the St Henry staff and St Henry player coaches.

The afternoon sessions will consist of 20-min running clock flag football games. Grades will be
mixed in a fashion that allows multiple 5–8-man teams with an eye for creating parity among
match ups. Thursday will be a day long tournament of individual games of skill with winners in
each grade level and flag team awards for most wins. Camp Staff will present awards during the
last 30-minutes of the camp on Thursday.

All equipment including balls will be supplied by the St Henry Football program.

Morning session-8 AM-11:00AM-Individual fundamentals
Lunch provided-11:00 AM-Noon
Afternoon Session-Noon-2:20 PM-7 on 7 Flag games
End of day Breakout-2:30 PM

PERMISSIONS AND WAIVERS

Guardian hereby permits the child to participate in the Saint Henry District High School’s camp described above. Guardian understands that this activity will occur within school grounds – including SHDHS’s main campus and athletic complex (SHAC) and that the child will be supervised by designated school personnel.

In consideration of the advantages of this activity, the guardian agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Saint Henry District High School and the Diocese of Covington and their representatives from liability for any accident in which the child may be involved or any injury to the child that may occur in connection with this activity.

If the child has a medical condition that requires health services and/or medications while participating in provided summer activities, the guardian will communicate those needs to the school personnel before attending. In the event of an accident or sudden illness, the guardian understands that reasonable effort will be made to immediately contact the guardian or emergency contact. However, the guardian authorizes the school personnel to secure emergency medical care if unavailable.

Guardian recognizes that he/she remains fully responsible for any legal liability resulting from the personal actions of a participating child.
