St. Henry District High School Camps are an opportunity to support the previous year’s learning and provide an exciting environment to engage in enriching academics and creative activities during the summer. SHDHS Visual Art Camp

Please join SHDHS’s Visual Art program by registering for the SHDHS Visual Art Summer Camp.

Visual Art students at SHDHS find success as mural designers, Artworks apprentices, GSA Finalists, and Xavier University McAuley Scholarship recipients, amongst others.  SHDHS’s Visual Art program prides itself on the 100% pass rate on the AP Art exam for the last six years.

Students: 2023-2024 6th through 8th graders

SHDHS SPORTS SUMMER CAMPS

St. Henry District High School Athletic Summer Skills Camps are designed to teach fundamental skills in each sport. Camps are designed for beginner to intermediate athletes and are a fun way for students to learn multiple sports, improve athletic skills, and make new friends. Camps are taught by SHDHS coaches and student-athletes, who aim to create an inspiring and supportive environment for campers. All camp attendees will receive a FREE SHDHS camp T-Shirt.

Volleyball Camp

SHDHS Volleyball Camp – Jump, set, spike! Yes, it’s volleyball time!

Volleyball Camp focuses on developing fundamental skills and knowledge of the rules. Campers will experience a small player-to-coach ratio as they are divided into smaller age divisions. Camps are available for Preschoolers to 8th Graders.  Each participant will receive a Camp t-shirt.

Girls Basketball Camp

SHDHS Girls Basketball Camp

The Girl’s Basketball Camps are designed for highly motivated student-athletes with aspirations of playing basketball. SHDHS Women’s Basketball staff and players will instruct campers on individual skill development and working within the team dynamic. The camp is available for girls entering 1st – 8th grade. Each camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt. Girls Basketball Camp Location: St. Henry Athletic Complex (SHAC) and the cost of $80.

Boys Basketball Camp

SHDHS Boys Basketball Camp

The Boys’ Basketball Camps are designed for highly motivated student-athletes with aspirations of playing basketball. SHDHS Boys Basketball staff and players will instruct campers on individual skill development and working within the team dynamic. The camp is available for boys entering 1st – 9th grade. Each camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt. The cost of the camp is $75

Cru Soccer Camp

SHDHS Soccer Camps

SHDHS Soccer summer camp is designed to develop skills in all facets of the game, emphasizing teaching proper fundamentals and techniques. Our summer program focuses on mental performance and speed & agility. The camp is available for Girls and Boys from K to 8th grade. Each camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt. The camp costs $95, with a cap of 80 participants.

Baseball Summer Camp

SHDHS Baseball Camp – MAKE THIS SUMMER THE BEST SUMMER YET!

SHDHS Baseball summer camp is designed to develop skills in all facets of the game, emphasizing teaching proper fundamentals and techniques. Our summer program focuses on development in hitting, pitching, and fielding in a fun-filled environment. The camp is available for boys entering 1st – 9th grade. Each camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt. The camp costs $95, and there is a cap of 100 participants.

Dates: July 17th – July 20th

Tennis Summer Camps

SHDHS Tennis Camp

SHDHS Tennis Camp is for all level boys and girls in grades 2nd to 9th Grade. The camp’s focus will be stroke development: serve, forehand, backhand, and net play in a fun atmosphere. For more advanced players, the camp will emphasize match skills: topspin, footwork, consistency, and strategy in both singles and doubles play. Each camper will receive a Camp T-Shirt. The camp costs $95, with a cap of 24 participants.

SHDHS invites 2nd through 8th-grade students to participate in its annual Summer Drama Camp and the performance of “Seussical Kids”. Campers will work on their craft of acting, singing, and dancing throughout the camp day. Campers will also learn the basic tools for acting, aspects of technical theatre, and characterization. These sessions, intermixed with games and lessons, will culminate in a performance at the end of the camp on the stage of the Drees Homes Auditorium.

The English summer enhancement program is designed to reinforce students’ skills essential for a successful transition into a high-school-level class. Students will practice critical reading techniques such as close-reading, note taking, and annotating to increase comprehension.  Additionally, students will incorporate writing tools to effectively communicate, develop and support ideas in an organized and focused manner.

The Math program is designed to enhance math skills and remediate basic math concepts to better position students for the school year. The program provides support for those needing review for Algebra I.
