Other Ways to Support SHDHS

Remke bigg’s Caring Neighbor Gift Card Program: SHDHS participates in the “Remke bigg’s Caring Neighbor Gift Card Program” where you can earn funds for SHDHS without spending any additional money – simply pick-up a Remke bigg’s gift card from our school office and register it at a participating Remke bigg’s store. Then, every time you load the gift card, Remke bigg’s will give 4% back to SHDHS. Please tell the cashier to load the card for you as a separate transaction. If you would like to use the amount loaded on your current purchases, please tell the cashier before he or she starts your order. The card loading transaction must be complete as a separate order. To request a card, you can either stop in to our front office or contact the SHDHS Development Office at 859.525.5848 or [email protected].

Meijer: Sign-up for the Meijer Community Rewards programs at any Meijer store and designate SHDHS. Our school will earn 2% in rewards for all Meijer Credit Card purchases and 1% for all PIN-based debit or cash purchases. Target: Sign-up for the Target Red Card and designate SHDHS, Our school will earn 1% in rewards for all purchases you make. Questions? Please contact the SHDHS Development Office at 525.5848 or [email protected].

Kroger Plus Community Rewards Program: The SHDHS Athletic Department participates in the “Kroger Plus Rewards Program” where you can earn funds for the SHDHS Athletic Department without spending any additional money – simply register your Kroger Plus card and Kroger will give 4% of every $5000 in sales back to the SHDHS Athetic Department.

Recycling: Our environmental club (The Planeteers) recycles paper. You may bring your old newspapers, magazines, etc. and deposit them in the green and yellow container on the soccer field side of the school building. We cannot recycle corrugated cardboard or old telephone books. If you bring shredded paper, we ask that you place the shredded paper in a plastic bag. Questions?
