34th District Championship

St. Henry 66, Dixie Heights 65

St. Henry clawed out a one-point win on their home court and claimed the 34th District championship, Friday night. The Crusaders were paced by sophomore Wyatt Vieth and his 22 points. Alex Westerbeck added four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points in the victory.

The Colonels were led by Jabari Karim and his 21 points. Arien Gentry added 15 points in the loss.

Dixie Heights (12-18) – Karim 8 3 21, Gentry 6 3 15, Flynn 1 0 3, Geraci 1 2 5, Schumate 4 0 11, S. Trimpe 4 2 10. Totals: 24 10 65.

St. Henry (15-12) – Con. Shea 1 0 3, Westerbeck 5 2 16, Vieth 6 10 22, Becker 7 1 15, Bessler 1 3 5, Ravenscroft 2 1 5. Totals: 22 17 66.
