Crusaders served a warm meal and smiles to families at the Ronald McDonald house. Six members of the Culinary Club and National Honors Society went to the Ronald McDonald House in March to prepare and serve a meal for all the families staying there. Ronald McDonald House Charities is a facility that is able to house 77 families who have children receiving treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The group of Crusaders toured the facility and learned how RMHC serves the community. After the tour they spent the afternoon with Chef Brandy who helped them prepare the dinner and dessert and then they served each family that came through for dinner. It was an amazing experience and really helped each group member realize how blessed we are and how important it is to serve others. Culinary Club hopes this will become a yearly service project for the group. Chef Brandy was so impressed with their prepping and cooking skills asked them to come back as soon as possible!
